The New Year started with reaching a total of 200 members making a massive bank of skills to help others. Our first coffee morning was a successful Craft Fair.
Throughout January our members offered Companionship, Debit advice, housework, IT skills, Painting, being a phone friend, Delivering, sewing and helping with TimeBank events and meetings totalling 95 hours.
Our Donations Service is working well – items no longer wanted are advertised and have made others very happy.
We also had a member that we assisted donate £20 to our chosen charity ‘Wings for Life’
We’ve assisted Social Services and Homestart with a member to visit and another to carry out some DIY work.
Our Sign Language Course started for its third year on 29th January and was well attended.
We were given some booklets by the St Neots Town Centre Initiative to sell for funding of the TimeBank. These were one on the History of ‘Eynesbury Village’ and the other ‘The lost Priory of St Neots’.
