September kicked off with our Pamper Day Coffee Morning, with therapists offering taster sessions of crystal therapy, Reiki and Indian Head Massage. A surprise musical interlude arrived courtesy of the Vamps Nuns, publicising their upcoming production of Sister Act.

We reminded our members to use up their old one pound coins before their validity expired (and what to do with already expired five pound notes), and also to get their chimneys swept before the winter, if they have thatched roofs, along with further seasonal advice from Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service.

Our Sign Language course started, and was enthusiastically received, although our Sing for Fun Group appears to have sadly run its course. We publicised that the Riverside Miniature Railway was in need of landscaping volunteers, for which work Spice Credits can be earned.
